On your first day at Angloschool there is a careful grading system to make sure we find the right class for you in one of the many levels we have here -- from Very Elementary to Very Advanced. This is done through a Test in Listening and Reading and by a personal interview with the Principal or a teacher to help us analyse your particular language needs.

As the Course proceeds a close watch is kept over your progress so that it is possible for you to transfer to a different level if you find the work too difficult or too easy. At the end of a Course you are again tested and can move to a higher class to continue your studies at the next level. If you wish, we are happy to send a monthly progress report to your parents or employer.

There are many different courses to choose from.

At other times you will be using the language laboratory or self-access centre. Lessons may be recorded on video. You could be making a cassette recording of an interview with English people or exploring a topic through discussion.

At all times we have two very clear objectives: to help you to understand spoken and written English and to communicate effectively in the language. Our lessons are designed to give you the maximum possible talking and learning time.

You will be taught in small groups by teachers trained in the newest, most modern techniques, who will correct, guide and encourage you. They will be supported by modern audio and visual equipment plus a computer room which provides exciting new opportunities in language learning.
