The courses you can take

We offer a variety of programmes to meet your needs. Our most popular course is the Intensive, which is described below. If you prefer to study part-time, and spend more time enjoying the attractions of London, you may wish to choose the General Course, the Summer Vacation Course or our Summer Leisure Programme. There is even a Christmas Course.
In addition, we offer a Computer Course, TOEFL Examination Courses, Cambridge Examination Courses, a Business & General English Combination Course, together with One-to-One Courses.

The Intensive Course
Our most popular course is the Intensive which runs all year round. This course is ideal for students preparing for examinations at home or in England, for those who want to go on to study at a University or College, for professional and business people who need English for their careers, and for those who require the language socially or just for their own personal satisfaction.

Here is the programme:

Mornings:
You learn how to speak correctly and grammatically with good pronunciation.
You study new grammar forms and practice using them in many interesting ways.
You learn new vocabulary and practice it in conversation and discussion topics.

Afternoons:
Here we concentrate on the four skills in learning a language how to speak, listen, read and write.

Speaking:
You practice communicating fluently in English in discussions, role-plays and real situations (e.g. booking a holiday on the telephone or an interview for a job.)

Listening:
You listen to natural English on tape and video and learn how to understand more easily.

Reading:
In all classes we help you to read and understand the authentic English you find all around for example, brochures, time tables, newspapers.

Writing:
You learn to improve your writing by writing for a purpose for example, writing letters, diaries, job applications, filling in forms.

Homework:
Homework is given every day at all levels.
