the Great Exhibition in 1851. Today, on the site of the Crystal Palace,
stands the National Sports Centre, its superb
facilities attracting sportsmen and women from all over the world.
Ours is a pleasant, residential district which, together with nearby Croydon, offers a wealth of shops, restaurants and sporting and entertainment facilities. It is a healthy spot, the highest point in South London. There are gardens, parks and golf courses nearby and extensive views over the capital and the counties of Kent and Surrey yet we are within easy reach of the centre of London, the journey by train taking only 18 minutes. |

The place where you study Angloschool has five spacious Victorian houses with a warm, friendly atmosphere. These buildings have been carefully modernised to meet our needs for offices, classrooms, self-access centres, language laboratories, and residential accommodation. There are common-rooms where you can enjoy meeting other students and beautiful gardens where you can relax and where we occasionally hold lessons and receptions in warm weather. |
