  Brookfield Lodge is the main office and resources centre for Derwent Executive Language, situated in the picturesque village of Hathersage, which is within easy reach of the business centres of Manchester, Sheffield and North Derbyshire. Here we offer self-access facilities for further practice, and a telephone, fax and e-mail service to allow you to maintain contact with your company or family during your stay

 

Brookfield Manor is an historic 17th century manor house, set in 50 hectares of gardens and parkland bordered by the rugged landscape of the Peak District National Park.It is a corporate training and conference centre used by many companies in the area, so there is ample opportunity to practise Business English in an authentic setting. All Executive English, Business English and group courses are delivered in these idyllic surroundings, and executive accommodation is available. Close by is North Lees Hall, the original Thornfield Hall in Charlotte Bronte's classic novel 'Jane Eyre'.   

  An alternative, smaller venue is available in the nearby village of Froggatt.  
 

Crag Moor House Crag Moor, a country house set in approximately 1.5 hectares of gardens and woodland. It is the only English Language Centre in the area, so there is no problem finding English native speakers. The local people are extremely friendly, and their accent is clear and neutral.

 

The picturesque village of Froggatt is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the Peak District National Park and there are superb local walks and rocks to climb. Almost any sporting activity can be organised locally. Froggatt is also very close to Sheffield and Chesterfield where there are theatres, cinemas, nightclubs, restaurants of many nationalities and traditional English pubs. Both have excellent shops, and a visit to the market town of Bakewell is also recommended. Froggatt bridge
