UNDERGROUND STATION : Warren St on the Northern & Victoria lines. Schafer House is a new (1994) university residence situated approximately 15 minutes walk from Central School of English and within walking distance of the famous Oxford St and London's West End with its numerous theatres, cinemas, restaurants and nightlife. The residence accommodation is in apartments consisting of 5 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a shower room and 1 or 2 WC's. Each flat also has a telephone for incoming calls. There is a wardrobe, desk and washbasin in the bedrooms. There is a good security system, a spacious TV lounge and a launderette. Bed linen is provided - students should bring their own towels. The accommodation is on a self-catering basis and there are several cafes nearby where you can go if you don't feel like cooking! Central School of English has a limited allocation of rooms available at Schafer Hall from June to September. |
