Janice Martin
has been teaching at Swandean School of English
for the past seven years, after many years in
the Tourist business. She was appointed Director
of Studies in August 2002, having co-ordinated
our Young Learner Programme for two years.
Janice has both
the Trinity Certificate and the LTCL Dip. TESOL,
and is now studying for an MA TESOL at the University
of Brighton.
We have many nationalities
at the school and Janice is very interested in helping
students to understand the different cultures, as
well as encouraging students to use out-of-class
activities to help them learn English.
Janice says:

includes giving the teachers support to help students
fulfil their language learning abilities, and
also to have a happy and welcoming atmosphere
where students receive personal and individual
attention."
